New Granada?

im doing this project and this one site says that bogota become the vice-regal capital of bright granada in 1717, but bogota is within colombia. so is that just another term for colombia. thanks for any lend a hand!



Answers:    "Nueva Granada" is one of the names of the country formerly becoming Colombia.
