Beautiful and familiar places surrounded by south america?

Answers:    I'll try and make it short:
Peru: Machu Picchu within Cuzco, lake Titicaca contained by Puno, Caral (the oldest city in adjectives Latin America).
Chile: easter island and its Moais, Atacama desert, Lakes and fiords in the south, Torres del Paine (south surrounded by Punta Arenas)
Ecuador: galapagos islands, equator line.
Uruguay: Punta del este (famous seaside resort)
Paraguay: Misiones churches from the Jesuits.
Argentina: pampas, estancias, Patagonia region, Mendoza.
Colombia: Cathedral of brackish near Bogota.
Venezuela: parque nacional Morrocoy.
Brazil: Rio, Buzios, Angra, Bahia.

I could probably stir on forever, this is just a terribly short glimpse of the beauty of south America, and I even didn't finish next to all the south american countries!
Cartagena, San Andres and Santa Marta within Colombia. Trust me, you will love it especially Cartagena! Bogota is very cultural and you will find everything within Bogota!! but the beuty is Cartagena!! good luck and i hope you choose Colombia as your destination. If you include the the deep then the Galapagos Islands. There is no other place on planet like them.

Bogata is nice. Outside of Bogata they have the Salt Cathedral. An mature salt mine i.e. now a church. One of the Popes have been nearby. Also outside of Cali is a place called Dapa. It is the most fine place in the world. In my country, Argentina: Bariloche, Ushuaia, Buenos Aires, Iguazú Falls (we share them beside Brazil).
Brazil: Río de Janeiro, the Amazonas jungle
Colombia: Bogotá, Cartagena

I'll suggest you to go to Colombia. There you can find everything. If you approaching the beach, jump to San Andrés, Cartagena or Santa Marta. If you prefer mountains, go to Bogotá or Tunja. If you wanna know more nearly coffee, visit the "Coffee-Zone" (Manizales, Pereira and Armenia). If you wanna know a enormously traditional city, go to Pasto....
Anyway, you should feel first in what do you want, later look for it in Colombia. 100% Peru!
