Are nearby any "amazon" type jungle in close proximity rio de janeiro?

I really want to see the amazon but also want to go to rio. Are here any top tourist jungle areas near rio that anyone reccomends? I'd really appreciate any response you can make available!

In Rio you can call in Tijuca Forest that's a very fine forest, part of the outmoded Atlantic Forest that dominated the region 500 years ago...But please be careful do not run there by yourself but consult a travel agency for back.
