Friend going to Uruguay for a semester.. contribution thinking?
my friend is going to school for a semester contained by Uruguay, and I want to give her a bequest that's sentimental but it's very thoughtful and creative.. I can't seem to be to think of what to gain her! I was thinking of something approaching a "uruguay survival kit".. too cheesy? maybe put a disposable camera, stamped envelopes and things approaching that in near.. but i dunno.. any other suggestions?
Answers: The survival kit is a great impression! I would include sunscreen. And how about pictures of you guys together, conceivably a phone card so she can call you more? Don't forget the sappy card too...
Uruguay soccer squad jersey, rugby team jersey? something close to that would be kinda cool i think? a picture of u beside a note surrounded by the back

Essentials, jerseys of your local sports team, even if they are high academy (these are wonderful to wear and at the end of the year I made some amazing trades).
When I go I couldn't find a recipe for chocolate chip cookies and they did not have the the chips. Send a recipe for the cookies and if you can't be in command of the chips- face it semi sweet bar make great chunks and they loved mine. (Right sour the the toll house recipe, almost)
I still keep surrounded by touch with my host relatives there and hold even made a return trip for my host sister's wedding. Any Q's a short time ago ask.
I have to speak wait til she get there to carry a hairdryer, adapters don't always work. Take an ample supply of her preferred feminine products, they may not be available. Peanut butter is unyielding to find. A journal beside addresses/e-mails/phone numbers in slice of it might be nice too. I hope she loves it as much as I did.
Stamped envelopes will be no help, unless you enjoy Uruguaian stamps. How about a small case with foods she loves but will probably not be capable of get nearby. eg. Kraft dinner, Jelly Belly`s, favorite chocolate bar, etc. Don`t variety it too big, I am sure she has lots of stuff to nick with her. How roughly speaking an air nouns pillow to use on the airplane. That way you'll be helping the friend both coming and going. It's a long trip!

I conjecture giving your friend a going away gift is a tremendously kind point to do. I studied abroad a couple a years ago and I have the best experiance. The best thing you could make a contribution a girl thats going to be away from home would be a gift card. Then she is competent to get anything she may need or want.
