Brazil or costa rica for a 2week trip within december nightlife and beach?
Answers: Absolutely Brazil, Costa Rica is a nice country but is not in one and the same league with Brazil for nightlife and beach.I have be to both countries several times.

Brazil, lacking a doubt. Costa Rica is nothing special and doesn't even compare to Brazil. First comes to mind is Brazil, almost certainly. I guess your budget is enough to afford a trip to Brazil, but but for, go to Costa Rica it's a great country, terrific place, and I believe the travel would be cheaper
Brazil. Costa Rica is a nice place to live but I wouldn't want to call in there.
I do live surrounded by Costa Rica. I have worked within Latin America all my full-grown life. For hours of darkness clubs Costa Rica is not so hot and very expensive and no longer distinctively safe.
For beach it is a tie, both have great beach, most mobbed, some beautiful. But contained by Costa Rica the almost decent hours of darkness clubs are not near the beach, in Brazil, they are.
Recently another popular tourist seaside in surrounded by C.R. was found to own 300 times the allowed amount of E.coli (Fecal content, sh*t, as we commonly call it). Brazil have some bad beach but none that bad.
For a 2 week break Brazil, hands down. It will be cheaper for fun and games once you are within.
costa rica is much much safer and there is so much to do .
the nightlife is great but similar to any other counrty in the world it depends on where on earth you are in that demanding country.
if you go to costa rica fly contained by Liberia Airport (LIR) and Tamarindo or Playa del Coco are 2 great spots.both very small twn but a ton of fun.I in actual fact bought 2 condos in Coco and i am going within a week.I try to go 5 times a year and it is other a blast
