Has anyone moved to Belize? How is it?
I'm an american citizen looking to move to Belize, does anyone know the process? What paperwork is necessary? Can I work within Belize? Is there a apt source of info. that I can use, website etc?

I can't abet but wonder how you could possibly come to the conclusion that you wanted to live contained by Belize without doing any research? I've lived and worked surrounded by Belize before and own nothing bleak to say around it but I wouldn't want to live there ineradicably.
okay this totally doesn't answer your question, i know, but i only went to Belize and i LOVED it! I wanna move within too. good luck bud! This elderly woman my mom knows have vacationed there. She be telling my mom they should move in that as it cheaper for retired people to live.
Years ago I researched this. Many different opinion. One site was Official, I not enjoy it. But, it say you could not work, they want their job for their people, unlike USA. But, this may enjoy changed and it may not exclude a person starting a business to enrol the locals.
They did mention a certain Income minimum, I be thinking it $2,500 per month. This too may not be today. Mainly they want immigrates to be self sufficient or provide for the economy by starting a business. They not want more race to care for. Here a intertwine, it, not look official.
