Traveling to Costa Rica surrounded by a few weeks,necessitate support.?
What are some great hostels?
I'm flying into san jose, looking to visit the arenal/monteverde, manuel antonio and possibly guanacaste or the southern side, carribean side maybe limon...
whats an just what the doctor ordered itinerary, i'm just looking to enjoy fun do as much as possible in 9 days.

The three hostels above are places I have stayed on former trips and would recommend.Another traveler recommended Walaba Lodge at Punta Eva Beach in Limon to me but I haven't stayed in attendance...Hope this helps you.Have a great trip!

Nine days is not long satisfactory to do toooooo much traveling. You need to want on 2 locations and stay there. although the country is not that big, the roads are alarming, dangerous, and what might be a 4 hour ride within the USA is a 12 hour ride in Costa Rica.
I would forget something like Limon or the carribean side all together... get o Arenal and Gunacaste.
With only 9 days, it might be apt to concentrate on a few areas. I'd skip the Caribbean, Limon itself is crime-ridden and run down, although Cahuita is nice. You could do arenal/monteverde, manuel antonio, and perhaps some stuff within guanacaste or nicoya, and then if you enjoy extra time do day trips to places resembling Volcan Poas or Braulio Carillo. WOW...9 Days is not enough to see adjectives that...I was within for 16 and it took a lot out of me...I flew out of Liberia stayed within Tamerindo-Samera-Montizuma-Mal Pais-Mount Verde-Arenal...
The driving when not on the Pan American Highway is painfull...No streets are marked...Get a COSTA RICA ROAD MAP...We thought that we would bring one there...NOPE...Not Happening unless you payment $18 at a rip-u-off mart...I loved the whole trip...I would not do Tamerindo again though...It is a small country but take forever to travel...ALSO GET A GREAT 4X4...Dont buy a car...If you enjoy any questions that are specific tag on a note and I can supply tons of info...I in recent times want to give you what you want and not what you plan not on doing...
I go last year,stayed contained by arenal for a week at the volcano lodge. i would recommend visiting the hot springs and doing the blind tour. I wouldn't spend the whole time in attendance because it rains everyday. For your trip up north to the Arenal nouns, go to the following site for some reviews made by a former Peace Corps volunteer from the nouns:

Hi, i am here in Costa Rica I live here adjectives my life. Stay contained by only one part of the pack of the country (Guanacaste, Arenal/Monteverde). Is the best way to wallow in your trip. Listen to Mike (100%)
