Answers:    It seem Joropo is the only indigenous bop of Venezuela, all the others, Merengue, Salsa, etc, are import.

I may be wrong, though, but that's what it seems.

Joropo the just Venezuelan dance? NO! My pretty country has so abundant beautiful typical dance! Every region in Venezuela have their own indigenous dance. El Sebucan is the foxtrot that is dance around a pole with ribbons, this is dance in the east of the country. That is merely one cause in attendance are so many I do not know the christen of them all. There are Gaitas to be precise the typical music that is dance in the Llanos of Venezuela. There is also Tambores which is the bop that is dance with tons of different drums and comes from African influence. The venezuelan polka is a board room dance that have its origin surrounded by Europe at the beginning of the XIX century and arrives to Venezuela surrounded by the middle of that century. Salsa and Merengue are "newer" dances that hold appeared in the end 100 years, but our indegenous dances own been dance since the beginning of time, even beforehand Venezuela was an actual country or be even colonized by anything other then their indigenous those!
