What is the cheapest city to fly out of to South America? What is the cheapest city to fly into surrounded by S. America?
I'm planning a trip to South America, and I was curious what city on the West Coast (or the rest of the US) is the cheapest to fly out of. Also, what city contained by South America is the cheapest to fly into? I've found the LAX is pretty cheap to fly out of, and Lima, Peru is pretty cheap to fly into. Any advice?
Also, any really cheap places to buy tickets online that anybody know of?
Answers: Miami and Atlanta.

In the West Coast, obviously San Francisco and LA.
If you choose the right time you'll find terribly good deal in any of these two cities.
I flew from San Francisco to Lima-Peru next to a 45 minute stop in El Salvador for solely $498 on May of this year. I flew with Taca, which can be exceedingly cheap sometimes and very expensive too.
The best website for South America right very soon is despegar (www.despegar.com) They specialize in looking for the cheapest flight surrounded by and out of South America. to fly out is either los angeles or miami
to fly I guess depending on the proximity of the city you are flying out.
I guess Cuba will be cheaper from Miami (if they tolerate you)
or Puerto Rico.
Inexpensive cities are Peru (Machupichu), Colombia (the caribean) etc
