Answers: If you travel to places like Antioquia, Caldas, Risaralda or Quindio (these are some states) they own a dish called "bandeja Paisa" which consist within beans, rice, steak, eggs, fried pork skin, fried plantain, french fries. It's an excellent dish. Know if you move to other places like Santa Marta, Cartagena, Barranquilla, they put away fish, since they live in the coast. So it adjectives depends on the region.
Banda Paisa, Mojarra, Bistek al Caballo, Platanos, rice, beans, San Cocho, Ajiaco, and each dept. have it own specialties also. like the guy said, it depends on the region. In southern Colombia, you can count on lots of beef, rice and potatos.
Don't forget the chicken foot.. its a delicacy..excluding that..rice, potatoes.. beef..soup Ni puta idea.
