Checked Baggage inspectations for passenger arriving within Lima, Peru?
Or am I paranoid? First... do they check your checked luggage in scanners and by mitt before you pick it up, after you come out of the plane? Second... would they nurture if I had one or two of those big 200 disc cd binders? Obviously I'm not going to affirm it because I heard they work out those dvds cost $20 and charge you 20% tax for everyone. So if I enjoy 400 movies. I would be paying hundreds or thousands of dollars. SO IS IT OK IF LEAVE IT IN MY LUGGAGE AND IGNORE IT? All Peruvian authorities just dont exactness unlike Americans... correct? By the way its for personal use for me and my friends and I am going to stay here a year maybe.
Answers: The dispatch of the law in attendance limits you to single a few DVD's and CD's but they don't ever seem to assistance about that stuff.
Be prepared for them to check your oodles. They have a really goofy system where on earth you push a button before walking through customs. The button triggers a pallid to turn either green or red. If it's green, you surpass through to the street. If red, you pass your plenty (and carry-ons) through a scanner. I've been traveling to Peru for years and brought adjectives kinds of stuff and never have a problem. Since they installed the scanner, I've never had a shoulder bag opened to be inspected. I surmise they're more concerned with Peruvians bringing vertebrae big-ticket items like television and computers, since they're the only ones I ever see getting their heaps hand-checked after the x-ray machine.
They're possible too. If you tell them you're going to be at hand for a year (and have a visa to show it), they probably would consent to the DVD's pass contained by the remote chance they care enough to open out your bag.
you'll be fine, they vend that stuff on the street, its no big deal over nearby.
