Costa Rica or Honduras / Nicaragua trip this summer?
Trying to decide on where on earth to go for 10-14 days this summer.
ATTENTION CONTACTS: This is a definite question.
Answers: sweetheart nicaragua and honduras alarm me a bit...they are still going through some political issues there which rather bit of a hot bed for violence,,we merely never hear about it as much anymore..i enjoy 2 best friends one from honduras and the other from nicaragua..and we just have a conversation about that the other daylight on what's going on there..I own been to costa rica and it is wonderful, go in that and relax for a couple of weeks...nicaragua is beautiful along the coast,but i influence go to costa rica.
Hey, we LOVE cruises!! The kids enjoy a blast too. They have babysitting on the train and the stuff they do with the kids is AWESOME. You can get through and drink all daytime long, the casinos and show are fantastic. There are dance clubs, fine dining or buffets, whichever you consistency like doing. The ship stops at a couple islands, you can snorkel the caribean (beautiful), here are glass bottom boat tours, parasailing...I could travel on!! Carnival Cruise lines were the best for the kids. We haven't done the Disney cruise but.If you're going with out kids (which be pretty fun too...lol) Norweigan Cruises were awesome for adults. Carnival be 1/2 the price and the kids still ask when we can go again. I'm not sure where on earth the port is for NY. I agree with the other anwser, that Honduras and Nicaragua own more violence because of political and social issues, but they are not Americanized resembling Costa Rica. Nicaragua are some kind of sombre because of their situation, but is cheaper than Costa Ricaand lifestyle is totally different than the US. But, I prefer Costa Rica because people are amazingly cool, and have different climates and relieve. For example if you grain bored on beaches and plains, be in motion to San Jose that it's inside a valley. But within Nicaragua, Managua and Granada are the same horizontal and it's very hot!
I agree beside the other answer that you should hit all three. I lived surrounded by Honduras for 4 years and it has some great places to call on and wonderful beaches.
I've be to Nicaragua for a few days and it was extremely nice. I'm sure they have some great beach there as okay.
Costa Rica is beautiful but it's severely Americanized and a lot more expensive than the other two. Well worth visit, though.

Costa Rica is passive without much belligerence and is relatively cheap. Plus it has great coffee everywhere, or so I hold heard. Plus the local girls love gringos which make it a slice of heaven on planet for single available men. The beer, tropical drinks and food is supposed to be good too. Enjoy. move about between Honduras and Costa Rica.i was contained by Honduras for 6 months...nice beaches
