Are the exploit tours surrounded by Belize a rip-off?

Planning my honeymoon in Belize for December/January. They hold some amazing tours you can take (ie: underground cave tubing, kayaking in the river, river boat tours, jungle horseback riding, etc.) - but they are adjectives $150-200 a person! Seems a bit outrageous. Wondering if anyone have been to Belize and worked near a reasonably priced company...or if you can do any of it on your own and squirrel away some $$.

Answers:    We went on a rainfall forest tour in Placencia contained by the south of Belize, which included all transport (boat and bus), walking within the rain forest next to a guide, lunch, tubing, waterfalls and rock jump and it was great! I reckon it was give or take a few $80 per person which be kinda expensive, but a) Im not planning on going there again so looked-for to see things while I be there and b) if I have gone into the rain forest by myself afterwards theres no way I would enjoy found out all the info something like medicinal purposes of the plants, history of the national park, info about local animals etc
Another afternoon we took a sail boat within Caye Caulker and went snorkling and have lunch and cerviche and rum punch and a full days outing, which again was incredible. We saw so much sealife including sharks, eels, stingrays, coral and agency more. Fantastic.
You can perhaps do a few 'expensive' trips after on the alternative days, have a really cheap daylight on the beach or something.
Enjoy! (and dont forget your suncream - its hot hot hot!!)
my ex is from within, she says since temptaion island tv show everything jump in price. i know she other tell me the jungle tours are a rippoff, but the best entity is the cays, you can have your own little island retreat. or northern belieze have some myan temples thats suspose to be fitting, as for the panther tour thing she say she has never see one and she was born and raise there. when we use to plan a trip together it be the cays and the temples, enjoy good time
