I'm going to Costa Rica. What would be authentic souvenirs or gifts to bring home for myself and others?
Answers: when i go within or when my family comes to look in me they usually bring me tamales and other costa rican food that's hard to find here. and they other bring me to t-shirts, but i don't really like the t-shirts they seize me. they're really touristy. make sure you buy some jewelry in attendance, like ones near wooden beads and are handmade, they are usually closely cheaper than here. my parents also like buying little pottery things of god and crap. our house has little clay dudes and pots adjectives over the place.
you can bring home costa rican tamales. and you should bring home some cheese from the supermarket, just put together sure you vacuum seal it so gooey doesn't get adjectives over your clothes. and if you can, try the ice cream over in that! it's so good and creamy!
Keep it simple and smooth to take through Customs.

i'm from costa rica , when my mom comes to visit me, she other brings me t-shirts, but they are kind of expensive, the dollar right in a minute is more than 500 (five hundred colones) that means if you enjoy a dollar they change it for 500 or more. remember don't show any jewelry or expensive specs. up there. bye Authentic souvenirs would be local art and things which emulate the culture. They have a type of wood art here on which they use a hot tool to burn within designs and words like PURA VIDA. you will find small examples similar to key chains to larger pieces for baggy on the wall
Pottery vases and things are sold contained by guanacaste and they are really nice, but make sure you set out room in your suitcase for it.
Ox Carts are close to a national symbol that represents the old days when men would pass exports over the hills on these colourful cart with wooden wheel that were a combination between spoked gearstick and disc wheel concepts.

Anything that says "Puro Vida" (country's moto)
Soccer shirts. I like the ones that say "Saprissa Bimbo" Saprissa is the soccer squad. Bimbo is the bread company that sponsers them.
