Has anyone traveled through el salvador, by coup¨¦?
My husband is on his way to Costa Rica and will be driving through El Salvador. I am really worried from desperate stories that I've heard. If anyone know any info or has experienced the drive through El Salvador, please distribute any information. Would like to know also how long it take. thanks.
Answers: I've driven from Guatemala to Honduras non-stop surrounded by about 8 1/2 hours. The drive is not desperate at all and most populace that speak of horror stories have never experienced them themselves and hold never met someone who has. In other words, it's basically hearsay.
That being said, a touch bit of caution is other in direct, no matter where on earth you are traveling. Stick to the main highway. Don't carry huge amounts of dosh. Do carry small bills. Follow traffic rules even if others give the impression of being to ignore them. Judge the traffic and those around you and drive suitably.
Ive rented a car surrounded by Salvi when I visited nearby. What an expirience? I dont think you should verbs about much, driving through it, on the CA-1 or 2. But do keep hold of the doors locked, and you might want to carry sometype of small map while within the capital, the CA-1 cuts past its sell-by date and it sux trying to get posterior on track.
