are starting to go aganist colombiaa ?
Answers: I'm from Ecuador.
For adjectives who don't know what's the deal between Ecuador and Colombia, here' a summary of the events and the reason that Ecuador, and the international community in common, have to condemn Colombia's attack contained by Ecuadorian soil.
Last week, Colombia bombarded a guerilla camp located surrounded by ecuadorian territory a few miles from the border near Colombia, killing adjectives the rebelds (except for three women who are now within custody of ecuadorian authorities), one of them was none except the number 2 of las FARC whose body, and another one from one of his officials, be retreived by the colombian army, leaving the rest to rot. .
During this attack, Colombia invaded ecuadorian nouns space without any authorization from our president, thus violate international law, which funds that the entire operation was unjust. That is the reason of the conflict between the two countries right very soon.
But that is not adjectives, when they finnally told us about what they enjoy done, Uribe said that they were following the rebelds and react on self defense, that it was adjectives spontanious; giving them a justification for entering Ecuador. But when a military entertainment, along with some ministers go to the area (everything be photographed and videotaped); it was discovered that the nouns was in reality bombarded and the everything was done while the rebelds be sleeping, prooving that it was adjectives a planned atacked and that Uribe was any misinformed, or that he was lying to our president, a VERY severe diplomatic deed. Up until now Ecuador is merely demanding not only apologies from Colombia, but also a guarantie that it won't transpire again, since this is not the first time that our air space have been invaded by Colombia.
As a result of the attack, Ecuador sent troops to the border near Colombia and expulsed the colombian embasador in Ecuador and kind our embasador leave Colombia. A few moments subsequent, Chavez declared his support to Ecuador and also sent troops to Venezuela-Colombia's border (Chavez sent his troops AFTER Ecuador, the affirmations of some media that we be the one following Chavez's actions are FALSE).
After the attack, Colombia retrieved a computer near all sorts of documentation from the rebelds. That information have a lot of compromising information that directly relates Chavez to las FARC. They state that Chavez has person supporting them with both guns and money, and even be planning to give them uranium. The documents are also said to relate Ecuador's president (or some of his ministers) to Las FARC, but up until very soon, it has not human being revealed which types of relations those are and don't seem to be as strong as the one's Venezuela have since if Correa (E President) had given them equal type of support, the Colombians would have definetly mentioned it on the Fourth Estate conference where they exposed most of the content of the documentation. They said they are going to use this unknown found evidence to formerly complain to Venezuela and Ecuador in front of the U.N. and the Organization of the American States.
Ecuador's president, Rafael Correa, have recently admit that he had dialogs next to Las FARC, but with the sole target of negotiating humanitarian exchanges; he denied the allegation of giving support to las FARC against the Colombian government. I enjoy to mention that Correa has never flexibly expresed his support to Las FARC in any approach, he has remained impartial in the Colombian Conflict and that unlike Chavez, he never mourned for the kill FARC leader, within fact, up to that time the inspections of the las FARC camp and since discovering that Uribe had given him false information, he supported the engagements of Colombia and congratulate that victory, sth he would not enjoy done if Las FARC and him were such obedient friends.
I'm not a supporter of Correa, in reality I hate the guy for human being such a supporter of heavy socialism; but I enjoy to speak objectively. The new documentation have still not revealed his relations with Las FARC, and I have an idea that there is a possibility that Colombia does not hold much on him other than humanitarian dialogues, but they are still mentioning the possibility of sth more for not looking that feebly internationally for breaking international law near Ecuador.
Also, if las FARC has enter the country, I blame the current government for it; because we've be holding them back for a LOT of time and if they hold indeed penetrated our territory, it be because the president is more bussy dealing with his decreasing popularity, than properly defending the border.
We ecuadorians do not support Las FARC and do not condone their schedule. And I have to mention that eventhough we own nothing to do next to the Colombian Conflict, we have given our support like mad of times to the Colombian government, and for various years, we have received and provided humanitarian aid to hundreds of thousands of colombian refugee who were running away from Las FARC and other paramilitary groups. We own given them food, shelter, and allow them to live their lives in our cities even when copious of them started to bring more crime to them.
After all we've done, or at most minuscule tried to do, we do not deserve to be called a terrorist supporter country a short time ago because the current administration have done a crappy job to protect our borders.
The most important issue here is that Colombia violated, bombarded and sent troops into our territory. That's against the International Law, up until immediately only Colombia and Bush are defending Colombia's schedule. The rest of south america and even Europe, are on the side of Ecuador for this transgression. The relations of president Correa near las FARC are another issue which has not still be clarified.
Apologies and respect, that's what Ecuador is demanding right now, not that Colombia kill those rebelds as some colombian and other medias want everybody to believe.
It WAS a great hit against las FARC, but that does not justify a defilement of the air space and domain. If they have informed us of the location of the military camp, we could have sent our troops near and CAPTURE them, instead of going there and annihilate them all while at hand were sleeping as it if truth be told happened. If we own caught the number 2 of Las FARC alive, Colombia not only would own avoided this mess, but they could have gain a great oportunity to negotiate the release of not a handfull of hostages, but docens or even hundreds, one of them most definetly Ingrid Betancourt. The hostages are in more peril than ever, and the peace dialogues with Las FARC might enjoy been ruined.
The situation can immaculately be solved with diplomatic measures. A period of war is not necessary at adjectives, so instead of being conversation about which side to support surrounded by a war, the U.S. should try to trim down the tensions between Ecuador and Colombia, instead of giving Chavez what he requests: Conflict. If the U.S. would solve this peacefully, they could recover some of the prestige they've lost contained by the region instead of helping Chavez to corrupt the minds of the people of S.A. beside xenophobic and nationalist paranoia.
Now that there's so much against Chavez, I hope he get out of power soon. And if Correa is smart, he will distance himself from Chavez.
The meeting next to the Organization of the Amercian States has not done much until immediately, they are going to make another sesion today. Up until immediately, only the U.S.A. supports Colombia surrounded by this one. Most latin American countries and Europe have expressed their support to Ecuador and condemned Uribe's attack for endanger the lives of the hostages and most probably ruining the humanitarian exchange negotiations.
Yes. I find it interesting how the medium in the U.S. is so friendly next to Colombia. But, it comes as no surprise since the U.S. has used the CIA and soldiers (especially during the unsettled 80s in the Iran Contra scandal) to unlawfully transport drugs from Colombia to the U.S. over many oodles years. They make their nice chunk of money, as does Colombian President Uribe.
Uribe have no business is any other country but his own, the latest attack inside Ecuador be condemned by Venezuela, Peru, Nicaragua and other countries. Seems the only country surrounded by support of Uribes government arrangements was the U.S., but the U.S. doesn't exactly hold on to their noses inside their own country any.
Yes, finally it comes more into light the support that maricon Chavez provides to the FARC. Glad to see Colombia did what needed to be done by slaughter the terrorist Reyes. Hope Colombia is able to clip a few more of FARC's leaders.
For the uninformed leftists here,
"Uribe have no business is any other country but his own"
Would that not also apply to Chavez, supporting rebels within a country other than his own? Would that not also apply to Correa, allowing terrorists to whip refuge contained by his country?
FARC is a known terrorist bureau. Yet, for some reason, the interfering maricon Chavez believes they should be removed from the International list of terrorist groups. Why?
Did the leftists on this page who support FARC lose any friends or family circle in the bombing of Club El Nogal?
fyi - I lost friends and clan in the terrorist attack that sunshine.
I think its great that they kill Raul Reyes. It amazes me that everyone is attacking Colombia and treating president Uribe like he is a criminal, which he is not! He is at lowest trying to get rid of the FARC.Why is Ecuador and Venezuela acting approaching Colombia has kill Ecuadorians citizens? Does anyone realize how many innocent populace have be tortured, kidnapped and raped and murdered by the FARC?
It is wretched that Venezuela and Ecuador is flexing their military on the borders of a country that without the 5 billion dollars of import would probably starve,If they really dont want anything to do with Colombia or the US dont rely on their products! This is another baggage of the media giving an intentionally slanted vista.Colombia bombed Ecuadorian territory. Venezuela have a mutual defense treaty with Ecuador - they are allies and bound by that treaty. It is to do beside control of the cocaine trade. Funnily enough the man who be killed surrounded by the attack,Raul Reyes, met with Wall Street chief Richard Grasso (accompanied by the Colombian Finance minister) within 1999 to discuss investing his cocaine money in Wall Street.

As we all know colombians hold been at time of war for the past 40 years and as disconsolate as it might sound, the civil unrest of my country is something that we enjoy learned to live beside. Just like Russia, Israel or the U.S.A. our soldiers know what they're doing and are exceedingly good at their living.
my answer to the question is simple, Colombians would win.
Venezuela would become Colombia's parking lot and Ecuadorians hold never fired a gun, u could invade that country with a bb-gun, an avocato some duck video and a plastic knife.
