Answers: Colombia has be fighting a civil period of war with Las Farc for give or take a few 40 years. Las Farc started, ostensibly, to better social conditions for the poor. However, over time, and after Pablo Escobar and his ilk were wipe out, they took over the drug trade. Las Farc holds an uncountable number of hostages and uses them for political leverage. Las Farc loves to operate in Colombia and afterwards, like little girls, run to Venezuela or Ecuador to coat where they thought they be safe. Colombia go 1.1 miles inside the Ecuadorian border after taking fire from the rebels that be inside of Ecuador. (Colombia could have call it an act of Agression from Ecuador and declared war) On a siezed laptop, they found that Chavez from Venezuela have given Las Farc 300,000,000 (300 million dollars) Chavez is terrorist who wants to destabilize the region to further his own agenda.

Colombia have located Raúl Reyes, # 2 in the FARC after Marulanda surrounded by a camp surrounded by Santa Ana, Sucumbíos Province in ecuadorian territorry.
Colombia's army have traspassed the frontier line various times before, but this olden weekend they bombed a FARC camp when they be sleeping.
Ecuador responded demanding apologies for the military action contained by ecuadorian territory because Colombia know of the operation weeks ago and didn't communicate the ecuadorian army of the prescence of Reyes there.
Ecuador alleged that Colombia violated its sovereingty and Colombia alleges that it be an action taken contained by legitime defence (legítima defensa contained by spanish) to destroy the FARC.
Colombia supposedly found a laptop that contained information of meeting with member of ecuadorian and venezuelan governments and in a minute Colombia says that Venezuela finances FARC and Ecuador give refuge to them.
The OAS said that Colombia violated articles 61, 62 and 63 of the charter of the OAS and created a commission to investigate.
Now Ecuador is demanding that Colombia commits to never doing those type of activities again.
Chavez is in this because he requests to discredit Alvaro Uribe.
Chavez wanted to net political profit from the liberation of hostages and Uribe have a more militaristic approach backed by the USA.

There's a military strategy that Colombia has made its own of pushing FARC south to the border near Ecuador.
There's 720 kilometers of frontier line between Colombia and Perú.
Ecuador have thousands of soldiers protecting the frontier from these groups and from frequent Colombia's trasspasing.
The terrain of the border in the east of the highlands is dense jungle, particularly difficult to control.
Colombia does not have a proper military control and doesn't want to own that control, thay want the ecuadorian army to deal near that.
Now that the groups of Raúl Reyes trasspased the border they attacked 30 minutes after the ecuadorian radars were turned rotten, these was planned more than 2 weeks past the attacks and was not communicated to the ecuadorian authorities, they threw bombs inside ecuadorian realm, took the body of Reyes and left.
Now Colombia and USA say that Ecuador is giving refuge to terrorist and Venezuela is financing them.

For adjectives who don't know what's the deal between Ecuador and Colombia, here' a summary of the events and the reason that Ecuador, and the international community in broad, have to condemn Colombia's attack within Ecuadorian soil.
Last week, Colombia bombarded a guerilla camp located surrounded by ecuadorian territory a few miles from the border next to Colombia, killing adjectives the rebelds (except for three women who are now within custody of ecuadorian authorities), one of them was none bar the number 2 of las FARC whose body, and another one from one of his officials, be retreived by the colombian army, leaving the rest to rot. .

A few moments latter, Chavez declared his support to Ecuador and also sent troops to Venezuela-Colombia's border (Chavez sent his troops AFTER Ecuador, the affirmations of some media that we be the one following Chavez's actions are FALSE).

Ecuador's president, Rafael Correa, have recently admit that he had dialogs next to Las FARC, but with the sole end of negotiating humanitarian exchanges; he denied the arraignment of giving support to las FARC against the Colombian government. I own to mention that Correa has never unambiguously expresed his support to Las FARC in any passageway, he has remained independent in the Colombian Conflict and that unlike Chavez, he never mourned for the kill FARC leader, contained by fact, until that time the inspections of the las FARC camp and formerly discovering that Uribe had given him false information, he supported the movements of Colombia and congratulate that victory, sth he would not hold done if Las FARC and him were such biddable friends.
I'm not a supporter of Correa, in reality I hate the guy for person such a supporter of heavy socialism; but I enjoy to speak objectively. The new documentation have still not revealed his relations with Las FARC, and I come up with there is a possibility that Colombia does not enjoy much on him other than humanitarian dialogues, but they are still mentioning the possibility of sth more for not looking that scantily internationally for breaking international law next to Ecuador.
Also, if las FARC has enter the country, I blame the current government for it; because we've be holding them back for a LOT of time and if they own indeed penetrated our territory, it be because the president is more bussy dealing with his decreasing popularity, than properly defending the border.
We ecuadorians do not support Las FARC and do not condone their activities. And I have to mention that eventhough we enjoy nothing to do beside the Colombian Conflict, we have given our support greatly of times to the Colombian government, and for frequent years, we have received and provided humanitarian aid to hundreds of thousands of colombian refugee who were running away from Las FARC and other paramilitary groups. We hold given them food, shelter, and allow them to live their lives in our cities even when masses of them started to bring more crime to them.
After all we've done, or at lowest possible tried to do, we do not deserve to be called a terrorist supporter country of late because the current administration have done a crappy job to protect our borders.
The basic issue here is that Colombia violated, bombarded and sent troops into our territory. That's against the International Law, up until very soon only Colombia and Bush are defending Colombia's schedule. The rest of south america and even Europe, are on the side of Ecuador for this transgression. The relations of president Correa near las FARC are another issue which has not still be clarified.
Apologies and respect, that's what Ecuador is demanding right now, not that Colombia kill those rebelds as some colombian and other medias want everybody to believe.
It WAS a great hit against las FARC, but that does not justify a defilement of the air space and kingdom. If they have informed us of the location of the military camp, we could have sent our troops within and CAPTURE them, instead of going there and murder them all while near were sleeping as it in actuality happened. If we own caught the number 2 of Las FARC alive, Colombia not only would enjoy avoided this mess, but they could have gain a great oportunity to negotiate the release of not a handfull of hostages, but docens or even hundreds, one of them most definetly Ingrid Betancourt. The hostages are in more difficulty than ever, and the peace dialogues with Las FARC might hold been ruined.
The situation can without blemish be solved with diplomatic measures. A time of war is not necessary at adjectives, so instead of being chitchat about which side to support within a war, the U.S. should try to fall off the tensions between Ecuador and Colombia, instead of giving Chavez what he requests: Conflict. If the U.S. would solve this peacefully, they could recover some of the prestige they've lost contained by the region instead of helping Chavez to corrupt the minds of the people of S.A. near xenophobic and nationalist paranoia.
Now that there's so much against Chavez, I hope he get out of power soon. And if Correa is smart, he will distance himself from Chavez.
