Could someone explain to me what the situation is near Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela?
I am really interested in knowing what is going on beside these three countries because I am half Ecuadorian, and would similar to to know what is going on as a citizen of the country. Unfortunatly i havent had much time to survey the news, and would similar to to be informed on everything. please help!

Colombia be absolutely sound in target a known terrorist. Whether or not he be killed simply over the Ecuadorean border isn't entirely relevant, since those are jungle areas where it is incredibly easy to go past from one country to another without knowing where on earth the borderline is.

I'm from Ecuador and I'm following the conflict closely.
I'll start near a brief summary of Colombia's actions.
Last week, Colombia bombarded a guerilla military camp located in ecuadorian nouns a few miles from the border with Colombia, bloodshed all the rebelds (except for three women who are immediately in custody of ecuadorian authorities), one of them be none other than the number 2 of las FARC .

But when a military bash, along with some ministers go to the area (everything be photographed and videotaped); it was discovered that the nouns was in reality bombarded and the everything was done while the rebelds be sleeping, prooving that it was adjectives a planned atacked and that Uribe was any misinformed, or that he was lying to our president, a VERY severe diplomatic dealing.
As a result of the attack, Ecuador sent troops to the border with Colombia and expulsed the colombian embasador surrounded by Ecuador and make our embasador hand down Colombia. A few moments later, Chavez declared his support to Ecuador and also sent troops to Venezuela-Colombia's border (Chavez sent his troops AFTER Ecuador the affirmations of some medium that we were the one following Chave'z activities is FALSE).

Ecuador's president, Rafael Correa, have recently admit that he had dialogs next to Las FARC, but with the sole object of negotiating humanitarian exchanges; he denied the retort of giving support to las FARC against the Colombian government. I hold to mention that Correa has never simply expresed his support to Las FARC in any method, he has remained impartial in the Colombian Conflict and that unlike Chavez, he never mourned for the kill FARC leader, within fact, until that time the inspections of the las FARC camp and previously discovering that Uribe had given him false information, he supported the arrangements of Colombia and congratulate that victory, sth he would not own done if Las FARC and him were such devout friends.

The principal issue here is that Colombia violated, bombarded and sent troops into our territory. That's against the International Law, up until very soon only Colombia and Bush are defending Colombia's activities. The rest of south america and even Europe, are on the side of Ecuador for this transgression. The relations of president Correa near las FARC are another issue which has not still be clarified.
Apologies and respect, that's what Ecuador is demanding right now, not that Colombia kill those rebelds as colombian and other medias want everybody to believe.
It WAS a great hit against las FARC, but that does not justify a infringement of the air space and domain. If they have informed us of the location of the military camp, we could have sent our troops in that and CAPTURE them, instead of going there and butcher them all while near were sleeping as it in truth happened. If we hold caught the number 2 of Las FARC alive, Colombia not only would hold avoided this mess, but they could have gain a great oportunity to negotiate the release of not a handfull of hostages, but docens or even hundreds, one of them most definetly Ingrid Betancourt. The hostages are in more trouble than ever, and the peace dialogs with Las FARC might hold been ruined.
The situation can impeccably be solved with diplomatic measures. A time of war is not necessary at adjectives, so instead of being chitchat about which side to support contained by a war, the U.S. should try to condense the tensions between Ecuador and Colombia, instead of giving Chavez what he wishes: Conflict. If the U.S. would solve this peacefully, they could recover some of the prestige they've lost within the region instead of helping Chavez to corrupt the minds of the people of S.A. beside xenophobic and nationalist paranoia.
The sesion of the Organization of the American States did not do admin do much. Correa is currently travelling ot other south american countries to gain support from other presidents and help him gross the OAS condemn the violation of the nouns by Colombia.
