Can you support me next to my kayaking within Peru?

My sister asked a question for me, I am using her report I don't use this site. I got the Huaraz replies which be very nice, thank you guys you be great.

My second question be regarding white river kayaking in Peru. Could you sustain me out? this is a special interest trip we would like it to be smooth 6+ which is high difficulty. I am traveling near some friends, we are experienced kayakers we don't need to hire equipment. We are thinking a moral area is along the full flow of the Amazon River, a trip close to J. Cousteau once did. Starting in the Apurimac River and end the trip in Manaus Brazil. Of course we would entail some where we may return with food & supplies. We'd like to stay next to native communities we are physicians, we are taking medical aid & our equipment. Once contained by large cities a hotel would be great. When going from Iquitos to Manaus we would love to stay contained by jungle lodges. Some links & information if you please?

Thanks a lot.

Answers:    Well Since you're an experienced kayaker perchance the Colca river in Arequipa is great for you. On these months it's completely high because of the rain in the Andean region, as a rule lot of flooding and "huaicos" (an violent avalanche of hose down, mud landslides and everything the river pass through) occur so you should check if kayaking is expand right now.

For the Apurimac-Amazon experience which sounds great I would ask you to double check at the www.peru.info site to see if it is risk-free. You have to use the Ene river which is customarily related to narcotraffic and terrorism!

Good luck!

I go to Lunahuana in Ca~nete and it be fantastic! we went surrounded by August but the natives told us that the best time for kayaking and white water rafting is May (but you own to be good at it since the hose levels are really high). It is a small place but awfully cozy, they also give tons of free sample of Pisco (liquor). I loved it!
