Ocean fishing surrounded by Costa Rica?
We are planning a trip to CR this May and my husband is interested in chartering a boat to fish for sailfish, etc. Anyone out at hand that knows of a fitting boat or any kind of opinion?

Answers: Ocean Fishing, yes yes, you will find some of the best sport fishing in the Golfo Dulce. A confined gem of Costa Rica. Generally up to date to the tourism industry which means it is still incredibly down to earth and believe me, it is where on earth the Real fisherman come to adventure contained by Costa Rica.
The Gulf itself is situated inside the Osa Peninsula. From here you have access to both inshore and offshore fishing tours. There is a exceedingly functional fishing port town called Golfito surrounded by a smaller bay in Golfo Dulce and they bring in some nice mackeral, Jack, and tuna almost on a daily basis. I recommend staying at a sport fishing lodge like Crocodile Bay Lodge.
Boat Charters are available within Manuel Antonio which is on the Pacific Coast just north of the Osa Peninsula. Check out this company who is hugely reliable for booking charter fishing trips.

Quepos is a town in Manuel Antonio which I enjoy heard is the spot for your sailfishing.
