Bus from Guatemala City to Flores Peten?
How much would it cost for 2 people to travel by bus from Guatemala City to Flores Peten on a round trip ticket?
Answers: I took that bus ride a few years ago. A first-class ticket beside Fuentes del Norte cost $12 one-way I think- it was slightly ancient and beat-up but at least have reclining seats, although the leg room be quite skimpy, for my 6' 5" frame anyway, until I traded someone for a front form. Someone else took a supposedly "Deluxe" which was a in principle new bus although still low on leg room- I consider that was $18. There be also the Linea Dorada deluxe which cost quite a bit more, but be reputed to be much nicer.

They charge $55 rt for deluxe service and $32 rt for their "economico". Maybe prices have gone up, perchance Dorada's "economico" is better than FDN's "1st class". I would buy in mortgage, and try and get front sitting room if you can.
The trip was 9 hours posterior before they covered the road, probably less very soon.
