If you are in the capital then go to the stadium and watch a game, the national museum of art in the square or the giant church on the outside hill side. all are fun and amazing experiances. If you are in the north coast were everyone vactions everything is fun.

If you want to stay where travellers are then go to the bay islands. you can fly from tecacigalpa(sp). It is one of the least expansive places to get your scuba certificates. Mine cost $149 with a safe company, altons, . My room right on clear carribean water was $3/day. English is the first language. good for night life.

I had a car accident and break down in honduras and found the locals in small towns to be wonderful
you can go to the beach. there are archelogical marvels close to the border with Guatemala, n there a lot of fun things in Tegucigalpa
