Answers: Different regions of the world have their own definition of what countries Central America consists of.
I live contained by Nicaragua and, for example, we are taught that America is one continent, as anti the U.S. where they are skilled America is made up of two continents (North and South America).
Here, in Central America, the simply countries we consider part of Central America are (by size [largest to smallest]): Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Belize and El Salvador.
I don't hark back to, but i think its the U.N. that considers Mexico segment of Central America. Other historians also consider Mexico part of this region, however, we surrounded by Central America don't.
