* * I recommend to anyone travelling in Venezuela to not use the ATM machines but to enter the guard and see the teller instead. I newly had my entire wall account drained though I never lost possesion of my card nor told anyone my number and code, thus some how through cameras or the contrivance someone was competent to access my account and help yourself to it all. This happen in a small town and my money be taken from a city that I myself have never be to.This is not uncommon. Though waiting surrounded by the bank usually take some time I think it is much safer. This is not intended to scare anyone as I really love Venezuela and I am living here for the subsequent 5 months.
