What is the best path to find work surrounded by Colombia for the summer?
I'm 20 and native English speaker, my Spanish skills will go and get me by but thats about it. I would love to work here for a few months to practice Spanish and discover the culture.I go to college but i do not enjoy my degree all the same i would like a position so i can afford to stay for 2 months

Todd Ed is absolutley correct except DAS, a whole time ! mmmmm nope more like something like 2 - 3 days. You have to be near by about 5am or the lines are horrendous. Also it is exceptionally difficult to draw from permission to work contained by Colombia and they are really against anyone trying to work illegally. It really isn't worth trying to do that. It took me roughly speaking 6-8 months to finally get say-so to work in the medical world here (as in good health as a mountain of paperwork) which surprised me. Also the wages for unskilled people are awfully very low.
Todd Ed, I also live within both Houston and Bogota and ring Bogota about twice a year from Texas. I discovered a thing call COMFI Phone cards. Very very cheap both for landlines and cell phones. A honest investment.. I would apply on private highschools and kindergardens as an English teacher. Look at hotels too, resembling Marriot and others...
