Costa Rica first aid apparatus?

I'm leaving for Costa Rica this Thursday, and I'm going on an eco tour. We start surrounded by San Jose and we go to Liberia, and finally to Guanacaste. We will be surrounded by the rainforest most of the time. I was wondering what I entail in a first aid tackle besides the obvious bandaids, sunscreen, deet, tylenol, etc. Thanks!

Answers:    If you are really concerned you could invest surrounded by a small snake bite kit. Costa Rica is home to more variety of poisonous snakes than anywhere else in the world!

Dont be panicky because the snakes are not looking to harm anyone, they are upset of us too.

I think it is virtuous to be prepared but know that the risk is really low. Wearing closed toed shoes and pants surrounded by the woods is the wisest way to protect yourself. The locals contained by the thick jungle here in Costa Rca repeatedly wear Rubber boots!

Enjoy the nature.
You didn't mention where on earth you're leaving "from." I assume you're flying, so aside from the explicit good list you have already (including sean 9411) , I'll basically add the reminder to think twice how you take this stuff (especially liquids) on the airlines. I'm sure you'll savour Costa Rica! I always bring a small first aid gear that you can get at a Walmart or Target store containing belt aids, aseptic wipes, ibuprofen, etc. In totting up you should have some hydrocortisone cream for bug bites
