One more Peru Question:?
I am going to Puno and Lake Titicaca. Which island is better to visit, the Uro's Islands or the sun island? And what is the difference between the islands?
Answers: It is totally different.
The Uros' Islands are not really islands. The Uros, local inhabitants of the Titicaca pond build floating islands were they live, houses and everything. So the are not "really" islands, they are floating platforms be they build their houses. The Island of the Sun was a site of worship be Mamaconas (Sun Virgins) worshiped the sun, so there are Inca Ruins on the island.
if u walk to Titicaca Lake, then pop in all the pond :), without stops :)
