What is colombia doing to prevent flooding?

Answers:    The real answer is: Not alot. Colombia is abundantly more focused on getting Las Farc out than stopping flooding. Some of the things that they HAVE done, is made it illegal to cut MOST trees contained by a watershed. This has help tremendously. But if youve ever been surrounded by Colombia in the wet season, there is NO WAY you could receive all the marine from an Aguacero controlled. Just not possible. If you progress to Rio La Calleja, for example, in Bogota, most of the time it is a stream, but commonly, in a really strong rain the conduit fill up. It has to 40 foot across and 30 feet insightful and often go over the banks. Smaller cities a short time ago dont have the infrastructure to do terrifically much.
