Can someone explain to me the time of war between peru and chile? tel me everything that happen?
Answers: Well this is going to be a little biased, but purely a little :)
The period of war basically started because of the rich brackish fields surrounded by coastal Bolivia. Salt was an critical commodity in those days and Chile have a previous agreement with the UK that if they help them to boost their ships and army in broad, then Chile would put up for sale the salt exclusively to the UK.
On the other side, Peru have a non-agression pact with Bolivia which also included military assist if one was contained by need.
So Chile invaded Bolivia and Peru be forced to enter the war contained by a time of political chaos. Bolivia lost its sailing territorries (Atacama and Antofagasta I think) and Chile advanced into Peru. After many cruel and bloody battle, in the South, Tarapacá, Iquique, Arica and Tacna, Chileans reach Chorrillos and Miraflores (small towns near Lima and very soon part of the Great Lima area), profoundly of robbing and raping occured there. Once they reach the capital Lima, Peru have to serrender and sign the Pact of Ancón.
Perú lost it's southern territories up to Arica and Tacna which after 30 years of Chilean invasion have a plebiscite to decide if they looked-for to remain Chilean or Peruvian, Arica is now part of the pack of Chile while the now call "heroic city of Tacna" returned to Peru. Lima also lost valueble archives from the Natioanl Library (they have be partially returned only a couple of months ago in an attempt to verbs a territorial dispute being held at The Hague International Court) and adjectives of it's marble decorations from its colonial past as assets of the Spanish posessions in South America, they're immediately proudly displayed in Santiago de Chile. And adjectives of this for a war that wasn't ours within the first place.
I must add, soon after the period of war, salt be replaced with other fuels and Chile be left beside a vast domain full of useless salt.
Peru's national hero come from this war (Bolognesi, Grau, Ugarte, etc) so you can receive an idea why there's a "rivalry" between Peru and Chile still to in this day and age.
This is pretty much it seen from a Peruvian point of vista. Go to wikipedia and look for "war of the pacific" for further info.
PD Paracas is still constituent of Peru and very far from the Chilean boundary.
They preserve taking Peru's land and claiming that Pisco is from Chile Wikipedia provides a great source for information on the time of war between Perú and Chile, also called The War of the Pacific:

After Chile invades the coast of Perú and head toward Lima, Wikipedia states:
"Regular Peruvian army and poorly armed citizens set up to defend Lima. However, Peruvian forces be defeated in the battle of San Juan and Miraflores, and the city of Lima fell in January 1881 to the forces of General Baquedano. The southern suburbs of Lima, including the upscale seaside area of Chorrillos, be looted. Every civilian was forced to surrender their valuables or suffer a bitter shutting. This desperate order be issued to raise money to income the late wages of the soldiers and prevent an uprising."
As an interesting reality I live close to this area, where on earth the Battle of San Juan took place. Only about four blocks from me are small, disorganized hills separating oncoming and outgoing traffic. It is said that within those hills fake the remains of Chilean soldiers and Peruvian citizens from the war. The nouns is respected, and no one go digging. Sometimes it makes me curious, though.
survey in wikipedia :) ok, the Chileans are other trying to expand, they are called the Israel of SouthAmerica for like reason and they are other fighting near everyone around because of their small territory and their expansion intention. Anyways, the together Chilean territory belonged to Peru or the Inca Empire up to that time so you now. Later, when the Spanish arrived, they formed their own country and after that on attacked Peru and took the cities of Arica and Paracas. They also have attacked Bolivia and taken domain from them and sided with the English against Argentina over the "malvinas islands" (falkland islands) influential to Argentinian lost of the island.
Yep. All of the above is true.
Chile kicked Peru and Bolivia's bum bum and made Bolivia a landlocked nation. Peru had a cool broad who rode himself and his horse off a cliff while human being chased by Chilean Calvary. The Calvary fell to there destruction with the standard.
