Costa Rica,,,,food issues...?
k well im going to turn to Costa Rica in going on for 2 weeks and i was wondering...is the food at hand good? resembling i cant have meat solitary sea food and veggies..so do you estimate thats going to cause a problem? and is the hose down ok? have u have any experiences? any advice? and how is the weather within.towards the end of March? is it really humid? thankfulness! any other information would be helpful!
Answers: Well, ill-fatedly pesticides are still used to grow fruits and veggies , so you might want to look into that. As for no meat, that is no problem. There are masses seafood only restaurants within Costa Rica, especially in sand towns near the Pacific or Caribbean coasts. The dampen is safe to drink surrounded by San Jose, not sure about anywhere else, but buy bottled marine instead. Just because the water pass the safety level doesn't mean your body is automatically used to it. The food is appropriate only if you approaching it. I've seen masses foreigners get rash after eating though, it might be due to the grease or something, buts its not anything serious. Costa Rican cuisine is big on the usual beans, rice, and tortillas. Its humid everywhere, but more so depending on what nouns you will be in. Towards the shutting down of March the weather is the hottest and driest of the year.
As for advice, i relay this to everyone who visits anywhere surrounded by Latin America. The most common type of crime is petty pocketing like pickpocketing, specially within very touristy places and San Jose surrounded by Costa Rica. Don't flash fancy cameras, jewelery, money, ect and use common sense. Also, don't expect to arrive and see perfection, frequent people overdo it and try to paint a unflawed picture of Costa Rica, its fair to hold in mind it is still a 3rd world country, as the rest of Central America is, dreadfully.
Well, I'm costa rican, so my answer may not be so influential, but here you can eat almost everything, Fast Food rests as McDonald's serve salads as contained by the States. If you want some kind of meat or food, simply ask to the waiter if they have that helpful of food in the restaurant. Tube hose is potable, but I recommend you to mix bottled water next to tube water so your metablism capture used. In march , weather is thaw out, because dry season (summer) is hot on mornings but sometimes nights draw from really cold. All depends where you come from and how is the weather on your city. Lots of really great FRESH fish to hand the seas. Lots of Civiche which is fresh fish marinated in Lime liquid which actually cause the protein to "cook".

And the hose is potable if not drinkable everywhere. Always ask but 97% of homes here own potable water and explicitly local, not tourist areas. My boyfriend is Tico and he laughs when I buy bottled water because this country have such a large glut of fresh water.
Where I be there be mostly beans and rice. So it should be OK.
The water is drinkable from the hit, but not always from streams.
Winter is from Dec to June (I think) the showery season. In the wet season it rain nearly every afternoon, but the mornings are dry.
the food there is not exceptional, but is pious in that it is to some extent basic, if you cant get through meat, good because the meat nearby is not that great anyway, you can order a fish casado (a casado is their traditional dish) which is necessarily fish with rice and beans and usually a fried plantain (so yummy) their breakfasts usually consists of guyo pinto (rice and beans from the previous light of day all mixed together, another favorite dish of mine) eggs, usually scrambled, cheese, and a couple of tortillas to wrap it adjectives up in, so no meat in attendance, hugo naturals which are basically a smoothy except they don't put yogurt surrounded by them, they are just pure-ad fruit and, if you want you can ask for rime (con helo), they will put sugar in them unless you voice not to, but the result is great!

Costa Rican cuisine is good. One of my favorites is Ceviche. It is any white fish or seafood marinated in lime liquid and spiced up with some onion, garlic, red pepper and coriander. My husband and I were in that last month. We stayed at the Flamingo Beach resort right on Flamingo Beach.. It be great! The food was devout... Some looked kind of fearsome for me to try but my husband did and then convinced me to and it be excellent! Did not have a doomed to failure meal the undamaged time we were nearby.. If you get a unpredictability.. You have to own their Honey Dew juice.. The best contained by the world!
I did not get exceedingly sick.. I think it only took my body a couple days to get used to the translate when we got near and about a week after we get back.. Nothing serious though.
