Can you live a honourable time contained by honduras next to american money?
If you send your kids to honduras but born contained by the usa and send money over here every month can you live a good go out there? Does anyone know. I enjoy a friend who is planning ot do that with her daughter? But her mom lives desperate out there but she say when you send money you can live a flawless life? Is that true?
Answers: Well the current exchange from USD to Honduras money is USD$1 to L$20. However if you ask if it is a accurate life after it different to everyone. Honduras crime is on the rise, so even if you had lots of money you wouldn't be capable of go out (have fun ) much. However it help to have money to budge to private school and create friends. Good Luck
Yes. As in Nicaragua, Honduras import almost anything you can think of from other countries. However, these import items are expensive over here because of the rise of import taxes the U.S. as placed on both countries. But, if your friend sends his/her daughter to live contained by Honduras and sends cash every other week, or month, she will live a vastly good go. If the girl is an American-born Honduran (a parent, or both, from Honduras) i doubt she will have much of a culture shock.
However, this also depends on what city or town she will live within. The capital, and the city of San Perdo Sula (SPS) are vastly modern, but, as the answerer above stated, crime is rising, but crime is everywhere, including where she lives right very soon. In the capital and SPS you can find any American-fast food restaurant, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Starbucks, Subway, ect. and items (such as shampoo, lotions, ect. from the U.S. are around in Honduras, however, as i mentioned up to that time, are more expensive than they are in the U.S.). If you buy items manufatured nationaly, or contained by other Latin American countries, they are very cheap, and some of the food products are much better for your form and taste better too. Here surrounded by Nicaragua we have these things, i forget the designation of them, but they are exactly like cheetos (even weakness better) and cost only 1 cordoba ($1 U.S. Dollar = 18.50 Nicaraguan Cordobas) so 1 daypack costs less than 10 u.s. cents. Meat, Vegetables, Rice Fruits are adjectives super cheap in Honduras too.
Honduras is a wonderful country and making friends near Hondurans is not hard, they are incredibly friendly and loving people. I know this because i enjoy many friends that live or are from Honduras. I also enjoy many of which i drop by, since i live in Nicaragua, we other take turns coming and going.
Well, it depends contained by what area you live, what academy do you go, and what relations you hang out beside.
You can live a fairly devout lifestyle in here.
Many associates live with the money that household members convey to them ("remesas" in spanish) from other countries, specially from the US.
Lifestyle here is much cheaper here than other countries because of our devaluated currency (L.19.03 Lempiras per $1), though you can find seriously of things here and feel they are so cheap if you are compensated in a stronger currency.
There are lots of american influence surrounded by here, we import profusely of things from the US. There are also many empire from El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia and other spanish speaking country people living here.
If your kids come to Honduras, they might experience some cultural schock specially if they don't speak spanish; but beside time, they can adapt pretty all right.
