Best method to get hold of from Managua Nicaragua to Liberia Costa Rica?
I am looking at the best way to bring back From Managua Nicaragua to Liberia in Costa Rica. Wondering if I can fly or stir by bus, if by bus how long is it and what companies do that route.
Answers: It takes going on for 3.5 hours to get from Managua to the border, and consequently 1.5-2 hours from the border to Liberia. You can take Transnica or Tica if you want, similar to she said, and if you're considering a plane, then Transnica would be the mode to go. If I take out, taking local buses, the bus from Managua costs $2-3 or so, and the bus in Costa Rica (some are local, others are San Jose bound but stop within Liberia) costs a couple bucks. So it wouldn't be an enormous stash, and you'd have smaller quantity comfortable seats and no A/C.
I have a conference in Liberia months ago surrounded by May. I took TransNica with my partner. All you have to do is notify them within advance that you plan on stopping contained by Liberia. You have a couple other bus option, one of them being TicaBus, however, it is other crowded, service is terrible and it is more expensive. Taking TransNica from Managua to Liberia will cost you a touch over $10 (or $20 if you choose executive).
I prefer TransNica for the quality of the sitting room, more space and they always enjoy friendly drivers. They also have reclinable places, television and video, sanitary service, a snack on the train, and cellular telephone service. All bus depart surrounded by the morning.
