I'll be moving to Bogota, Colombia contained by September. Can someone speak about me what are the nicest areas to live within?
Answers: The other answers are not 100% correct. The nicest areas to live in are:
*Rosales
*Chicó
*Santa Ana
Chicó Navarra
San Patricio
Other areas may be nice as ably, but the ones above are where folks with the most money live. The ones flecked with the * are the most expensive. Chicó have the best location and it's within walking distance from plentiful places where you'll want to walk frequently (parque 93, andino, etc). Santa Ana has the nicest houses. Rosales have the nicest apartment buildings. They're all close to respectively other anyway.
In the north of Bogota...like "el cerrito"...those are the quietest and nicest contained by Bogota...keep yourself contained by the north...but it's more expensive too...enjoy my country THE BEST AREAS OR QUARTERS IN BOGOTA ARE IN THE NORTH OF THE CITY LIKE LA ALHAMBRA, LOS ROSALES, LOS ANDES,LA CAROLINA OR IN THE UNICENTRO ETC, AND THE PRICES OF AN APARTMENT THERE GO FROM 600 DOLLARS 1200 MORE OR LESS.
http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowForum-g29... There are frequent nice areas, most of them on the northern part of the city. Lately, the trend have been for nation to buy houses at gated communities close to Chia (a small town north of Bogota) or thereabouts. If you are looking for a place closer to the city itself, Rosales, Santa Ana, Chico, La Cabrera are still nice places to live.
I'd suggest to stay away from apartments too close to "el parque de la 93", "la zona rosa" and the main shopping centers as those are crowded and not as pleasant. There are some angelic places around the "circunvalar avenue" between the 72nd and 90th streets. It also makes a big difference if you are looking for a house or an apartment.
I don't know Bogotá. But, if you sometime wanna come to Medellin, you can contact me. = ). Bye honey. Everything that comepollo say is the true.Im from Bogota!! He forgot to mention "Bella Suiza"
Good luck
