What is the conversion rate for dollars and Venezuelan Bolivars?

So what would 27,000 Bolivares be in US dollars?

Answers:    Hey How's it going? I'm truly US citizen living in Venezuela right very soon. I've been here for abt 9 months and hold the currency exchange figured out pretty economically. Now i could tell u that the exchange rate is "1 US dollar = 2,145.92275 Venezuelan Bolivares",but that track to complicated to really understand and it's not drastically useful if u're in actual fact somewhere trying to purchase goods. So here's how it really works:

Every US dollar is abt 2,000 Bolivares. Think abt it approaching this... if u pay $5 (USA) for something it's simply 10,000Bs (VEN). If u pay $10 (USA) for something it's 20,000Bs(VEN). If u wages $50 (USA) for something it's 100,000Bs(VEN). Get the pattern... essentially u double the number and add 3 zero's to the stop. Now to get a bit more specific they don't use the "$" here they usually put "Bs" after the number like i did. And they don't use commas and period the way we do contained by the states...for example: $5,234.83 (USA) would look like this 5.234,83Bs and $2,547,765.23 (USA) would look resembling this 2.547.765,23Bs As u can see they use the commas and periods the exact in front of way than we do surrounded by the states... when it comes to numbers!! And last but not lowest they use the term "Mil" when chitchat... which means "thousand"! So 5,000Bs would be "Cinco Mil" or "Five Thousand" and sometimes they write it close to "5mil"! All of this may sound confusing ,but u hold to understand that this is a completely different country, culture, and channel of doing things. it actually took me a while to obtain used to such a big change, but when it comes to money...i deem we all become express learners, LOL!! if u hold any other questions abt Venezuelan life span feel free to email me!!

PS They are in reality abt to change the full currency system here. Next January they'll be on a system that is greatly closer to what we use in the states. The US dollar will still be abt double the worth of the Bolivar but, instead of being call 5,000Bs it will be known as 5Bs... which is road less confusing!!

PPS Oh yeah and to "officially" answer ur 2nd query.. 27,000Bs would be abt $13.50!!
$ 12.5739
www.xe.com A dollar is equal to 2150 Bolivares. So 27000BS = $12.56
On the black market a dollar is around 4000 Bolivares.
1 U.S. dollar = 2 145.92275 Venezuelan bolivars...didn't notice the 27000...it would be $12.58
