Anyone lived within San Pedro Sula, Honduras?

I may be moving there from Canada. If you lived or live here, what do you think? I hear it is nice, but everyone have different likes and dislikes. Gracias.

Answers:    OK, I used to live surrounded by Tegucigalpa, Honduras, but I know some things about San Pedro Sula (S.P.S.) As you might know, honduras is a third world country so dont expect much scientific advancement, entertainment, and life style. San Pedro Sula's climate is really really really hot so you might enjoy a little problem near the wheather as you are coming from Canada!! As for crime, its pretty high greatly of express kidnapping take place every now and after, so be aware. Traffic is really bad, my brother used to work surrounded by SPS and I dont know if he was nasty but he said that pretty much there be accidents every daytime because people in that drive rectlessly. It sounds like I am trying to prevent you from going but SPS is a nice place to live, of late be careful.
Hello. As a fellow Canadian my partiality country is Honduras and I'm jealous that you may be moving here, that day is years away for me still! Keep within mind that while the average salary is $3000 that doesn't really imply it's comparable to our salaries. $3000 will win you a lot more down in that than it will here. Honestly I wasn't the biggest fan of San Pedro Sula, but I didn't spend more than a few days here. If you have travelled to any other Latin American country I found it to be reasonably similar in most ways. Tela is an surely beautiful place, smaller but much nicer. La Ceiba is a bigger city and also extraordinarily beautiful and I would instinctively choose that rather than Sula. Just my assessment, sorry I couldn't be of more help. Cheers! I would run a stab at saying that it is a much better place to time off at then to live. I feel it's practically a third world country, they are pretty poor there, much resembling the rest of latin america. The GDP per capita there is $3000 (canada's is $34,000) SO, unless you already own tons of money to live on for the rest of your life, and want to move to rapture, then sure progress ahead. But if you still need to work to live, I conjecture your job option might be slim down there.
