Best hotel within santiago de chile?
Answers: I've been 7 times to Santiago and I hold two favourites and mostly based on location as they are within front of each other:
1. Hyatt Regency: if I hold the money I will go to this one (I've be here 4 times) They have a wonderful swimming pool near a huge and luscious garden, 4 restaurants to choose from, tennis courts, spa, and it is steps away from Parque Arauco Mall.
2. Kennedy Hotel: I've been here 3 times, it's a boutique hotel and a bit cheaper and smaller than Hyatt. Nevertheless, it's a great choice next to a wonderful breakfast buffet.
Both are in Las Condes and on Av. Kennedy which give you easy access to any place surrounded by Santiago and walking distance to Parque Arauco where you'll fina a money exchange, a supermarket, shops, etc.
Personally I wouldn't stay within the Ritz Carlton because of its location, it's in Las Condes too but surrounded by a very authoritarian street and it has no great viewpoint of the city. It is a good hotel but on the other two you will hold an excellent view of the cordillera and the city at indistinguishable time.
The Ritz Carlton is up there. The Ritz Carlton surrounded by Las Condes or Crown Plaza SanFrancisco in Downtown. Have fun. Chile is fantastic
