No air-conditioning surrounded by Central America?
I am planning a family trip next to my parents to Costa Rica and just going on for every one of my questions have already been answered... The solitary thing I'm finding is when I'm looking for house rentals and such, contained by any place, none of them have air-conditioning. Not even the really expensive rentals that we won't be staying at anyways. All the websites speak something like, "The breeze comes contained by through the entire house and the fans on the ceiling keep the heavens moving." Well... I personally hold no problem with this, but I know my mom may be more concerned because she's never traveled outside of U.S./Canada and Europe. So I'm wondering how "cool" these houses really stay, since the average daylight temp in Costa Rica is other in the 80F catalogue. So, who's stayed in non-air conditioned houses within warm climates? I've stayed resembling this in Peru, but that country is more cold than heat up.
Answers: By boyfriend freaked out when I told him there be no AC in our rental. He get over it very at full tilt though. The breeze and fans worked faultlessly (I even had to sleep beneath a blanket!) The houses are built to make use of the breeze and they are incredibly comfortable. Lots of windows and great weather and you won't even know the difference.
I live surrounded by a non-airconditioned house in Honduras and the year temp right now is elevated eighties to ninety. The overhead fans and the wind keep the house comparatively comfortable. If you have fan and breezes with 80 point weather you will be fine. well, why do you inevitability and a/c house here in costa rica if you are coming here for the weather. houses beside a/c's here are worthless. costa rica is a micro climate country. people are use to the weather and the temp and thats why they live smiling. if they want to go to a space heater or cooler weather, they go for a couple of days but is something we can knob...
We were in recent times married in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica later April and my wife's parents were nearby. We were worried give or take a few the same entry, but after the first day we be all acclimatized. Our resort be perched high on a mountain overlooking the the deep, so the breeze was remarkable. We also spent alot of time within the pool and drinking margaritas !
You'll be fine. Just be open-minded and deliberate outside the box.
