I'm going to Costa Rica on June 1st for 10 days on a guided tour..?
And I'm wondering if the scorpions and tarantulas are really a problem? What precautions should I take?
Answers: We rented a house nearby last summer and I never saw a tarantula. Scorpions are around though. Always check inside your shoes back putting them on, don't stick your hand surrounded by a pile of towels or clothes (pick them up from the top of the pile), and obviously, don't stick your hand or feet underneath any rocks or logs.
No way, resourcefully, depends of the place. ha ha ha... scorpions, tarantulas... ha ha ha... scorpions, that is merely if the place that they take you is impressively old and they hold paper or cupboard surrounded by stock, they like that mold smelly rooms. tarantulas, probably, but thats character. don't freak out and they won't do anything or actually don't mess next to them. relax, take thoroughness
no not rele i got boil yesterday and didnt see any no, i lived there contained by a very poor nouns for 6 months and i survived. only saw a couple and they be like outside . they hold a lot of cochroaches though, one time i saw one surrounded by a restaurant and i was getting squirmy and none of the locals (ticos) seem to pay attention to it. i did take sick of some of the food. (hint, dont eat the food from the street vendor, no matter how drunk you may be.)
Dont verbs about the scorpions and taratunlas! First of adjectives there are no scorpions here its a similar type charitable of like a kith and kin its called alacran. Bascially you would simply die from it if you were alergic from it. I get stang once, and I had a restlessness and swollen tounge, I just drank chamomile tea next to sugar and was suitable in 45 minutes. You just see them anyway !!
Regarding tarantulas, hardly will see any, but once I come home, and there be one on my dress! And thats just give or take a few it... Dont be scared this is a gorgeous and wonderful and amazing country! Pura vida!
