What's the best mode to see the Amazon within South America?
Travelling to South America soon... can anyone recommend the best way to see the Amazon?
Answers: Go to Leticia Colombia. Stay at the Decameron Hotel (all inclusive, not bad) Be sure to see Monkey Island, and the indigenous tribes. You might want to spring for a small plane ride. You newly cant grasp the grandeur of the river from the ground.
You enjoy to go the Venezuela to see the Angel Falls, Canaima and the Tepuys. Josef's answer is especially good.Another popular entry is through Leticia contained by Colombia.Depending on where you are coming from your airfare might be smaller number to one or the other.

Brazil's Amazonas province have the most beautiful areas of rainforest surrounded by the world! The lush greenery and exotic wildlife is just amazing!
