Are near right campsites along the Pacific contained by Guatemala?
Another question...We would also similar to to visit the Pacific Ocean. Is it worth the time? Are at hand any good places to pitch a tent and progress camping for a hours of darkness or two? We would be leaving from Antigua.
Answers: The best beach in the pacific coast are MONTERRICO, JUAN GAVIOTA, CHAMPERICO, CHULAMAR, LINDAMAR, LAS LISAS, EL JIOTE the sand is volcanic but are soooooo striking you can stay in a simple tent camp or in a luxery hotel is ypur choice! ANTIGUA is implicit.

I'd exceed on the Pacific coast of Guatemala. The black sand beaches will burn your foot if you walk on them barefoot, if the sun is out. The just surf I've seen is 3-4 foot shore breaks, next to very powerful rip tides. The weather is hot and humid, and they hold mosquitos as big as chickens. Crime is a major problem. On the other appendage, the lightning is spectacular!
There must be 10,000 beaches contained by Mexico, all of which would be a better choice.
I focus it's worth the time.The Pacific coastline stretches from the Mexican border to the border with El Salvador.The region is characterized by black volcanic sand beach.Surfing is popular on many of the beach and it is possible to pitch a tent most places.You need to keep under surveillance your belongings as the beach does attract petty thieve. Because the beaches surrounded by Guatemala are almost all black sand and while they are not as distinctive as some of the beaches other places they are still great places to walk and relax. Within a couple hours by bus from Xela you can visit Champerico, Tulate, Sipicate and Tilapa (our favorite). A few hours more and you can call in Puerto San Jose and Monterrico which are the most popular beaches contained by Guatemala.
