Cheapest approach to travel from Honduras to Belize?
I am now contained by La Ceiba Honduras and want to know the cheapest way to travel from where on earth I am to Belize City. I was thinking more or less taking local buses but would not know how to continue once at the Guatemalan border. What local buses are nearby that connect from San pedro Sula for example to Guatemala and then Guatemala to Belize. And if the boat is an opportunity from where. And also is it out of danger
Answers: There is only one stop crossing from Guatemala to Belize. You'd have to run North to Flores to catch a bus to Belize.
You could arrest a local chicken bus from the Guatemalan border to Puerto Barrios, and take the carry across Rio Dulce to Livingston. I have crossed from Livingston to Stan Creek, Belize by small boat. It is much cheaper and shorter.
From San Pedro Sula give somebody a lift a plane. Maya airways or Tropic air flys to Belize municipal or Belize international or Ambergris Caye. I prefer Ambergris caye...I will be in that on Thursday for the weekend . My favorite place on earth :)
