Costa Rica?
Have you ever lived in Costa Rica? Do you know anyone that lives near? Are there any benefits to living near?
Answers: No ... Yes ... Yes
I have be here in Golfito Coast Rica for 11 years this time and own no plans to leave.
The greatest asset CR have is it's people. I live okay in $1200/mo. The beer is angelic too lol I am Costa Rican. I really love it here (I can't really say that I enjoy known anything different though). But if you are into quality, relative peace (crime exists and is somewhat tangible), great beaches, a slower gait of life than surrounded by more industrialized countries, etc. Then you might just really close to it. There are tons of pros and cons, it really depends on who you are and what you are looking for.
woz born there and stayed 4 a while Yes I hold lived here on and off and it is a great place near a good expat community. Unlike living within first world countries there are oodles downsides to Costa Rica when it comes to administration but once you catch over that it is a great place.
Check out the links listed as they document tons of people living contained by Costa Rica
Yes, Yes, and Yes.
My wife and I are retired and have lived contained by CR for about 5 years.
We fell contained by love with the empire, the democracy, the freedom of religion, the cost of living, and the cost of and infrastructure of their medical system. (I think everybody have heard of how lovely make-up is here, so I didn't mention it in my previous sentence.)
Yes I did and I loved it.
The weather is nice.
You can bring in your own tropical fruit or buy it very cheaply (10 mangos for a dollar US)
There is an American presence, but it isn't overwhelming. So you can budge someplace and speak English, then budge back to existing live.
It's just nice.
it's so lovely. No, to all trhee, but we enjoy gone to visit, and the food is amazing. We go to Quepos and San Jose. no, just visit. I know someone who lives there and who keep tormenting me to saying how wonderful the place is. There are evidently lots of benefits to living at hand. Its a favourite place for UN workers to retire to (and they enjoy real nice allowance plans).
There are no armed forces. Its peaceful and gorgeous. The people are nice. It have a pacific coast and a caribbean coast.
I am from Costa Rica and literally it has something to contribute everyone. I would say that one of the angelic things when living there is the better lifestyle. You can check the site for more information around better lifestyle. Thanks! yes, yes and yes...
