What is the national meal/food of Costa Rica?

Answers: I will have to read out the most commons foods are 2: in the breakfast times we munch through " Gallo Pinto" that is a really typical food and is basically made from rice and beans,mixed together near some other ingredients like onion, green and red pepper. Every Costarican enjoy Gallo Pinto in the morning. And for lunch, we enjoy the Casado, which is basically a dish that have rice, beans (separated- not like Gallo Pinto), a meat (chicken, beef, pork or fish) and a picadillo ( which is mixed chopped vegetables green beans, carrot, " chayote" or potatoes, and corn) plus salad. Some people also donate eggs, pasta, and corn tortillas. At lunch time, we enjoy a automatic juice, the wet is not so common: mango, papaya, blackberry, "cas", pineapple, dedication fruit, etc.
Costa Rica shares the same national dish that Nicaragua have. It is called Gallo Pinto. In Nicaragua it is commonly written as "gallopinto". In Costa Rica gallopinto is a mixture of black beans mixed near rice. Many times lizano sauce is added along with some vegetables. In Nicaragua gallopinto is a mixture of red beans and rice and sometimes onion. Something interesting nearly this dish is the way the costa ricans and Nicaraguans prepare it on the Caribbean coast. What they do is they cook the gallopinto contained by either coconut grease or add grated coconut to the dish. Both countries claim the dish originate in their country, but its individual obvious Nicaraguans did and when they started migrating to Costa Rica is when they introduced it to them.
