Is within an airport surrounded by Puerto Barrios, Guatemala?
If so...what airlines fly from Guatemala City to Puerto Barrios. We are going on a mission trip to a tiny town in Guatemala call Tres Pinos, and I believe Puerto Barrios is the closest airport to there, but I can't find any info on it.
Answers: It's not a commercial airport, within fact, it is basically a runway that was built for the military forces and they just the goverment is allowed to use it. So if you want to go to Puerto Barrios, lift a bus, the best and safest bus company is "Litegua".
Yes there is an airport contained by Puerto Barrios see http://www.worldaerodata.com/wad.cgi?id=... However, I don't believe it receives international flights. You would fly into Guatemala City and nick a small plane/chartered flight or drive to the Puerto Barrios. No matter what anyone say or how cheap they are DO NOT take the local buses (chicken buses).

I doubt within is comercial flights there. And if here are, they probably aren't cheap. A bus would probably be your best bet. yes there is basically go onto latin american airlines it works
