Answers: I would budge down to the palace and watch Chavez falsify his marionettes. It might also be fun to see him in full rant in the order of the evils of Democracy and how he is the only hope and table lamp for South America. It is much like what I suppose a talking monkey would look close to.. Or maybe an ape.. I dunno. Or skip Caracas adjectives together and go to Las Roques and dive or Isla Margarita.
Yes, Caracas really isn't a greatly tourist-y place... but if you're already going there. My guidance is to be careful and try to sway out with someone from Caracas that can guide you and give an account you where not to run, what to do and not to do, etc.
As for places to go, very well you have to shift to El Avila, which is the mountain that surrounds Caracas (Caracas is a valley) it is truly beautiful, and you can grasp the 'Teleferico' which take you to the top, to Avila Magica which is primarily a place to eat, and dangle out with a pretty prospect of the city, there's also a skating rink :)
Also, there are profusely of shopping malls you can visit if you're into shopping :) Centro Comercial San Ignacio, Sambil...
You can budge to Plaza Altamira, it's a kind of pretty square. Then there's Bellas Artes that's primarily the place where the museums are, but this nouns is a bit dangerous... so take heed!!
Also, there's the UCV, that's the Central University of Caracas... which was name universal patrimony of humanity by Unesco... it have a very interesting arquitecture and some works of arts, if you can scrutinize a play or concert in the Aula Magna at hand, it's really pretty...
Basically that's all I own in mind... do try to look out there. And use adjectives sense ;)
I would go to the Venezuelan Tourist Office, where on earth they can guide you to see some of the important places and relatives, who are transforming Venezuela into a new society below the Bolivarian Revolution. ie clinics, housing, farms, school etc, in fixture to the usual tourist sites.Caracas is not exactly a touristy city, but it has far-reaching Museums and statues of the Nation's history Have a great trip, you will love it Caracas is not really touristy and a bit dangerous. But in that are many fun time trips from the city, like Los Roques (probably one of the best beach in the world), Colonia Tovar (German Town) and ChoronĂ, great place but a short time too far for a day trip.
i freshly voted for ^ because i was going to identify los roques and colonia tovar (both really good places to go). i would influence if you could go to margarita island stir there because its more fun and a bit safer after the city. Caracas is not a tourist type city, unlike Buenas Aires for example.
Theres so many places to call round in Venezuela Caracas isn't one of them
