There are lots of good school. It depends on your length of stay and whether you want things such as Spanish and volunteering together. Intensa, the Costa Rican Language Academy, ICADES (volunteering) CPI (Heredia and Monteverde) are just some examples.

This summer I came from Intercultura. I spent 2 weeks at the Heredia campus and 2 weeks at the sand campus. It was plainly one of the more affordable choices and all their teacher are properly licensed. Overall I was really joyful with my choice. Their weekend excursions be amazing and the employees be very of assistance and friendly. I also just found out that it be featured on the show Passport to Latin America on the Travel Channel, which is pretty exciting.
Good luck and own fun on your trip!
