Costra Rica - weather and transportation?
Is August a good time to walk to Costa Rica? What would be best places to see/things to do if I want a bito everything: beach, sights, temper, culture. Thinking of going there for honeymoon. How do you receive around there? Trains? Buses?
Answers: Anytime is a great time to call round Costa Rica. August is still the rainy season, gist it will probably rain for an hour or 2 respectively day. Renting a motor is one option, but know that the raods are HORRIBLE, and lond distance travel at darkness is not a very righteous idea because of this. Roads not in good health lit and lots of pot holes (some very big). You can fly Sansa from San Jose to Quepos, Golfito, Puerto Jimenez, and somewhere within Guanacaste. Other than Costa Rica moves by bus.
I wouldn't suggest Volcano trips in Aug. Too cloudy surrounded by the mountains to see. There are several National Parks for hiking to see animals and vegetation. Manuel Antonio close at hand Quepos, Corcovado in the Southern Zone, both of which are on handsome beaches.
San Jose have museums and such, but being a big chity it is risky at night.
Taxis are cheap for short runs too.
Congrats on your upcoming conjugal.
For a Honeymoon, Monte Zuma and Playa Tambor are very nice and romantic places. I gotta tip off you, the only side effect you might go and get from going there is the desire to live within for ever. Have your Honeymoon in Hotel Diria on Tamarindo Beach surrounded by the North West of Costa Rica on the Pacifit coast. Hotel Diria is a very fine First Class Hotel adjectives the way near three huge outside Pools with drinking Cabanas right within the pool and the Hotel rates run about $50.00 per darkness. Its Right on the Beach as well as the Main Road within Tamarindo Beach!
Go to Hotel Diria.com and check it out! Lots of Tourist attractions, etc and a perfect place for an outstanding Honeymoon!
Been there several times and love to travel back!
Don't verbs about weather - its handsome all year around! And don't verbs about transportation any. You can travel by Bus, Air (Sansa Air), or rent a car, or Hire a Guide beside a Van very believably!
