Bus + trains contained by centralized + south america..trouble-free + safe and sound??
im planning to go to mexico, central/south america and be wondering as a (possibly lone) female is this out of danger and fairly comfortable? does a transport system exist?? i guess it depends where i wanna run bt just want an perception of what its like.. appreciation!

There are competing bus lines and there are different classes of service. Each bus file has it's own terminal.
It is pretty much resembling air travel contained by the USA.
You go to the terminal, buy your ticket (I would recommend doing this surrounded by advance, a moment ago like you would beside air travel) they
even enjoy reserved seating. I prefer to sit as far forward as
possible. When you arrive, you check your kit and pick it up, bus side, when you reach your destination. Usually black cab drivers will be there trying to solicit your business to rob you
to your hotel.
Recently, I took a bus from El Salvador to Panama. I could afford air travel, but I considered necessary to see the country and be closer to the people.
I used the TicoBus company. The buses be almost luxurious. They all have rest rooms. Some had video screen and showed movies. They reclined and have curtains so you could block out the sun and were nouns conditioned. Sometimes a vendor would catch on and sell sandwich and drinks to those who wanted them. The food be fresh and good.
So it be a pretty inexpensive, convenient way to see the country and return with to know the middle class people as you travel.
There are what is agreed as 'chicken buses'. These are lower class open nouns buses, usually old American institution buses that are much cheaper. But in them you might be traveling beside chickens, goats or pigs.
Travel at night be supposed to be risky as bandits enjoy blocked roads, forced the bus to stop and robbed passengers of valuables, but this never happen to me.
All in adjectives, I think you will find it is a locked and affordable way to travel contained by Latin America.
I can't speak for south america (although its probably similar)...but in centralized america the bus system is fairly extensive. You can grasp almost anywhere cheaply and easily, although comfort is not up to US standards. First class buses are similar to US Greyhound buses, second-class are resembling US school buses, engineer lots of stops, and if you get on slowly you may have to stand. I'm pretty sure the twist of fate record is worse than US or European buses although not so discouraging I wouldn't ride on one. Some remote routes do have thug problems, but a second-class bus full of peasants is probably much safer from that than a tour bus or private car. In common the worst that can happen is pickpocketing as near are usually too many nation on board for anything to else to start and most passengers are honest hardworking types. same as anywhere, you necessitate to be careful - even more so surrounded by the big citys.
No there is no trasport system. We travel by foot surrounded by South America.
