Has anyone ever lived contained by costa rica?
I am moving there soon to be near my fiance and get married. I am for a time nervous but he say it is beautiful. I trust him, but adjectives that he tells me is from his point of panorama and he more or less grew up in that.
What good places are within in San Jose or Alajuela?
Answers: Ok, here's a girls point of vista... the good the unpromising and the ugly ...lol... it depends on your expectations and lifestyle. If you're used to the finer things within life... it'll be a rough correction... if you're more down to earth... you'll be fine contained by Alajuela. This country is beautiful and thoroughly laid back which sometimes take getting used to... there's a good providence you'll get annoyed from time to time because its a cultural point to be late and procrastinate,... nearby is such as thing as TICO TIME! There's no such item as customer service...hehehe. Also, be very afraid of drivers... most hold purchased their licenses...heh. Let's see what else... there's other a holiday or random hours of daylight to celebrate, which mechanism...party!
As far as the quiz good places... what do you miserable... it's not full of crime if that's what you're asking... Alajuela is still pretty rural.down town San jose, like any other down town is sketchy. But, once you bring here, interact with the "ticos" and travel to the mountains and beach... I can almost guarantee you'll never want to leave!! So, bienvenida a Tiquicia! Te esperamos! :)

CR is a wonderful country and at this time I envy you because I wish I be moving down there but I am fortunate that my kinfolk lives there & I can call round whenever I want. People are very laid rear legs and do not run around crazy like nation do in the States. When I be in motion to Llobet in Alajuela (Department Store contained by Alajuela) I can't believe how the sales ladies are huddled within a corner talking while one is waiting for them to assist you. If we be in let say JC Penney's that wouldn't happpen. There's other town festivals or my favorite are the Topes. During Xmas I hold fun going to Zapote fiestas. It's within no way, shape or form a boring country.
Ticos love to hold fun. The countryside and Beaches are amazing. Not only that, CR is becoming "westernized" due to adjectives the tourists. Hello- they even have a Hooters surrounded by San Jose! lol Take care and I will you the best of luck !!
Communities west of San Jose are most appealing to foreigners living here (mainly Escazu, Santa Ana) . They have reheat weather and all the conforts and conveniences you find within the US. Others like mountainous areas to the north , surrounded by Heredia, quieter, cooler and with life-size lawns.
Don't worry, you will love it !!
