Anyone enjoy any information more or less independent travel to the Tepuis and to Canaima park?
All I can find is about escorted tours. We would resembling to stay at one of the Indian villages, but do not know how to research them. Has any one be there only just to give us direction? Any information would be appreciated.

Look up Valentina Quintero she travels the country and make a TV show and a yearly travel guide. In her guide you can find adjectives sorts of places you can stay at with out have to take an escorted tour. I hope this serve you..There are a lot of other websites...

Canaima is soooooooooo magnificent I have be there, and can enlighten you that Lonely Planet Venezuela is the best reference available.
